About

Eight yurts at Savage Highlands, one of Maryland's newest state parks, atop Big Savage Mountain near Frostburg. The park's own page describes a queen bed under a central dome, a fully enclosed private bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual-basin sink, a living area with a fireplace and leather furniture, a kitchenette (sink, mini-fridge, coffee maker, breakfast nook), and a private covered porch. Sleeping capacity varies by unit (2 to 4 per the booking system). This park's separate log-cabin product, also listed in the booking system, is explicitly marked 'Coming Soon' on the park's own page and isn't included here since it isn't actually bookable yet - only these yurts are live. None of the eight currently allow pets or show as ADA-accessible.

Fees

$201.00-$251.00 per night. Taxes and a per-booking reservation fee apply at checkout; Maryland Park Service's own cancellation policy confirms fees apply but doesn't publish one flat figure for a new booking, so no specific fee amount is stated here.

No seasonal closure is listed for these yurts; the year-round online booking window is open with no closure notice, unlike this same park's not-yet-open cabins.
