About each unit
Cabins
Twelve fully furnished cabins around New Germany State Park's small mill-pond lake in Savage River State Forest, sleeping two to eight people depending on the cabin, with configurations from a single room up to multiple bedrooms (some with lofts or futons). Each has a full kitchen (dishes, flatware, refrigerator, microwave, oven, range, coffeemaker), one full bathroom with a shower, and a wood stove for heat - the park's own page doesn't mention air conditioning. Towels, linens, blankets, soap, and food are not provided. Cabin 03 has a ramp to its exterior door with no interior steps, the most accessible of the twelve, though it isn't formally flagged ADA in the booking system; other cabins have anywhere from 4 to 41 exterior steps, so ask about a specific cabin's steps if that matters for you. Five cabins (03, 04, 05, 06, 07) allow pets for an added fee; the other seven don't.
Glamping Tents · sleeps 4
Two glamping sites at New Germany State Park: a 10-by-12-foot canvas wall tent on a 10-by-16-foot wood platform, furnished with a queen-size bed, a nightstand, and two Adirondack chairs. There's room for one small additional tent on the camping pad. Linens aren't provided. No kitchen, bathroom, or heat/AC - restrooms and showers are in the campground. Site 003 allows up to two pets; site 031 doesn't.
