About
Westmoreland State Park sits on high cliffs above the Potomac River on Virginia's Northern Neck, known for fossil hunting - visitors often find ancient shark teeth washed up along the shoreline. The park has a large campground with standard and electric sites plus dedicated group tent areas, alongside a mix of rustic log and frame cabins (not counted in the total above). There's also a swimming pool, boat ramp, camp store, and miles of trails through the riverside bluffs.
