About
Widewater State Park occupies a scenic peninsula where Aquia Creek meets the Potomac River, still under active development. It offers a visitor center, picnic areas, canoe and kayak launches, and hiking trails. A small number of primitive, paddle-in tent sites are available for those willing to reach camp by water; there are no drive-in campsites or cabins yet.
