About
Luzerne Campground is located on Fourth Lake near the hamlet of Lake Luzerne in the southern Adirondacks. The 167 sites include a block of 22 horse-camping sites, plus a separate group camp area, and the lake (motorized boats prohibited) offers rowboat and canoe rentals and a swimming beach. A shower building, restrooms, and trailer dump station are on site. Pets are allowed with proof of current rabies vaccination on a 6-foot leash, but not on the beach or in buildings.
Fees
Standard sites are about $17/night plus a $7.25 reservation fee ($1.25 walk-in), with a $4/night weekend/holiday surcharge. Out-of-state campers pay an additional $5/night. No sites here have electric hookups.
