About

Glen Island is one of the boat-access-only camping areas among the Lake George Islands, reached from launch points such as Bolton Landing. It offers 165 campsites plus 40 additional boat sites, each with its own dock, fireplace, picnic table, and toilet facility. There are no electric or water hookups, and no vehicles or RVs - everything must arrive by boat. Pets are prohibited on all Lake George Islands campsites and day-use islands, including docks and moored vessels. A Lake George Park Commission user's permit is required in addition to the campsite reservation.

Fees

Sites are non-electric and boat-access only, so expect the standard rate of about $17/night plus a $7.25 reservation fee, plus a $5/night surcharge for non-New York residents. A separate Lake George Park Commission user's permit fee also applies, based on boat size and sleeping capacity - confirm current rates before booking.
