About
Hearthstone Point Campground sits directly on the shore of Lake George, about two miles south of Lake George Village. The campground has 236 sites, including one group camp, along with hot showers, flush restrooms, and a trailer dump station. Both tent and trailer sites are available. Dogs are welcome with proof of current rabies vaccination but may not be left unattended, brought into buildings, or taken onto the beach or into day-use areas. The campground typically operates through early-to-mid September.
Fees
Standard sites run about $17 per night plus a $7.25 reservation fee; waterfront and electric sites carry additional per-night surcharges, and out-of-state campers pay an additional $5 per night. Confirm the specific rate for your site when booking.
