About
This rustic campground on the northeast side of Milakokia Lake offers great opportunities for fishing and paddle sports. There is a boat launch suitable for kayaks, canoes and small watercrafts. The campground is split into two loops. Sites #1-11 are to the right as you enter and sites #12-35 are to the left. Sites #12-35 are more suitable for large trailers.
There are 35 sites for tent, small trailer and large trailer use. The campground is located 20 miles west of Naubinway via US-2 West, East Milakokia Lake Road and Pike Lake Grade.
35 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Tahquamenon Falls State Park (906-293-5900).
