About

This secluded, rustic campground offers quick access to the Black River, making it a prime spot for anglers. It's especially popular in the spring and fall for its strong runs of steelhead and salmon. There are 12 sites available for tents, small trailers and large trailers.

The campground is located 8 miles northeast of Naubinway via US-2 East and Black River Road.

12 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Straits State Park (906-643-8620).
