About

Nestled on the northwest side of Little Brevoort Lake, this rustic campground offers direct access to the Hiawatha National Forest and a state-designated natural area. The campground features 20 sites for tents and small trailers. Enjoy excellent paddling and fishing, with convenient carry-in access for paddlers at the boat launch or picnic area shoreline. A grassy lakeside picnic area provides two tables for relaxation. Directly from the campground, explore the beautiful 2.25-mile Switchback Ridge Pathway through dunes and thick forest.

The campground is located 2.3 miles east of Brevort via Worth and Ozark roads.

20 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Straits State Park (906-643-8620).
