About
Nestled on the Manistique River, this rustic campground offers exceptional paddling and fishing adventures. Nine sites accommodate tents and small trailers, offering a range of experiences. Riverfront sites (1-4) provide immediate access to the water and picturesque views, while the remaining sites are perched on a bluff. The operation of an ORV and snowmobile between the campground and nearby trails is allowed.
The campground is located six miles southwest of Germfask via M-77 and County Road 436.
9 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Indian Lake State Park (906-341-2355).
