About
Nestled along the scenic Blind Sucker Wildlife Flooding, this rustic campground provides exceptional fishing and paddling opportunities. Offering 31 sites, it's ideal for tent and small trailer camping. Lake Superior access is available via a 1.1-mile hike on the Blind Sucker Pathway or a one-mile drive north on County Road 407.
Blind Sucker Pathway is accessible from the west side of the campground.
The campground is located 33 miles northwest of Newberry via M-123 and County Road 407.
31 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Muskallonge Lake State Park (906-658-3338).
