About

Story County Conservation 78-acre wildlife refuge with nature trails through grassland and woodland, West Indian Creek forming its eastern boundary. Hunting and trapping are prohibited. One remote camping site, no electrical, water, or sewer hookups. Fire rings, portable bathroom (April-October), picnic areas with grills, a 1-acre pond near parking. Reservations online, or first-come, first-served if unreserved. Pet friendly.
