About

Santa Clara County park on Coyote Lake, a 4.5-mile reservoir in the hills east of Gilroy, with a boat launch, fishing and 26 miles of trails on the former Harvey Bear Ranch. The Lakeview campground has 54 tent sites and 19 paved RV sites with water and electric hookups (73 in all), plus the Black Tail group site for up to 40. Drinking water, restrooms, showers and a dump station; RVs up to 30 feet. Parties of 17 or more must use a group site. Open year-round; reservations online.
