Polk County Conservation 552-acre park where 140-foot-tall bluffs rise above the Des Moines River, with scenic overlooks, oak savanna, hiking trails, raptor viewing, and archaeological history spanning 12,000 years. Acquired by the Conservation Board in 1980. Electric sites, full hookup sites, hike-in backpacking sites, and group camps. Restrooms, shower facilities, pressurized water, picnic tables, fire rings, kitchenette facilities, on-site resident host. Pet friendly.
