About

Town of Monroe's Webb Mountain Park Campground: 11 tent-only sites (no RVs, trailers or pop-up campers), up to 10 people and two vehicles per site, 14 consecutive nights maximum. No electricity, showers or swimming; a shared portable toilet in each cluster of sites plus two accessible toilets. The well near the entrance is not drinking water - it is for putting out fires, so bring your own water and a bucket. Firewood supply is very low; bring your own that meets Connecticut rules. One dog per site on a leash no longer than 7 feet, with proof of license and rabies vaccination. Permits are issued only on weekdays at Town Hall, 7 Fan Hill Road (never at the park or on weekends or holidays); the permit holder must be on site for the whole stay. Check-in noon, check-out noon. Season runs from the Saturday of the schools' April break to the second Saturday of November, weather permitting; in 2026 the first night is April 11 and the last November 7.

Fees

Per site per night: Monroe residents $10 for 1-5 campers or $15 for 6-10; nonresidents $25 for 1-5 or $35 for 6-10. Nonprofit groups (up to 10) $5 if Monroe-based, $20 otherwise. No refunds.
