About
City and County of Honolulu windward campground on the Kāneʻohe side of Kualoa Regional Park, a hidden gem with its own fire ring and restroom building - 7 tent campsites, one ADA-accessible, on 3-day permits (Friday 8am to Monday 8am), plus a large-group campsite booked directly with the park (808-768-8974) at least 30 days ahead and up to six months out. Closed each summer for park programs, from after Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend; Campground B stays open. Gates closed 8pm-7am; driving to the campsites is not permitted; generators, pets, horseshoes, bouncers and waterslides prohibited. Max 10 people, 3 tents and 3 vehicles per permit (overnight parking permit required). All city campgrounds close Wednesday and Thursday; tents only (no vehicle camping), no fires.
Fees
$10 per day plus a $2 admin fee and 2.35% card fee - $32.75 for the 3-day Friday-Monday permit.
