City and County of Honolulu windward-coast beach campground near Lāʻie, always in high demand, with a beautiful beach where surf and currents demand a swimmer's attention - 5 tent campsites and two restroom buildings on 5-day permits (Friday 8am to Wednesday 8am), plus a large-group campsite booked directly with the park (808-768-6829) at least 30 days ahead and up to six months out. Gates closed 8pm-7am; driving to the campsites is not permitted. Max 10 people, 3 tents and 3 vehicles per permit (overnight parking permit required). All city campgrounds close Wednesday and Thursday; tents only (no vehicle camping), no pets, no fires.

Fees

$10 per day plus a $2 admin fee and 2.35% card fee - $53.22 for the 5-day Friday-Wednesday permit.
