About
City and County of Honolulu tent campground on a long stretch of windward beach at Bellows Field Beach Park, the public park inside an active military training area - 50 campsites, weekends only: permits run Friday noon to Monday 8am, the park is closed to everyone 8pm-6am, and campers stay in the camping area overnight. Campsites here have no placards or posts; positions come from the city's online booking map and its printable version. Lifeguard tower and two restroom buildings; day-use parking is limited to the two lots on the old runways. Max 10 people, 3 tents and 3 vehicles per permit (overnight parking permit required). Overnight camping was suspended through summer 2025 for the turtle-nesting season and training closures are posted online. All city campgrounds close Wednesday and Thursday; tents only (no vehicle camping), no pets, no fires.
Fees
$10 per day plus a $2 admin fee and 2.35% card fee - $32.75 for the 3-day Friday-Monday permit.
