About
Six rustic cabins at Kettletown State Park, near Lake Zoar (a Housatonic River impoundment). A 14-by-17-foot rustic cabin with two rooms, comfortably sleeping four (up to six), furnished with two sets of bunk beds plus one full-size bed - mattresses are provided, but bring your own linens and pillows. There's electric lighting but no running water, toilet, or shower inside; a bathroom and shower house are nearby. No cooking, open flames, or smoking are allowed inside the cabin, and the primary occupant must be at least 21. Cabin 006 is wheelchair accessible; the other five aren't. Pets aren't allowed in or at the cabin, even at parks where pets are welcome on the regular campsites.
Fees
$50/night for Connecticut residents, $60/night for non-residents, per the cabin's own published rate. A $50 refundable security deposit is due at check-in.
Cabins are bookable Friday through Sunday nights only, with a 2-night minimum. The campground's own 2026 booking calendar runs into late October - the longest cabin season of any Connecticut state park in this file.
