About

Many campsites overlook the lake. The lake's Tlingit name, Dèsłìn Âyi, means “long narrow water." Has a trail from the kitchen shelter to the shore. The Society of Yukon Bird Observatories keeps a station here, open mornings August 1 to October 1. Many songbirds and waterbirds pass through in fall.

On the Alaska Highway at kilometre 1258. 27 campsites, 6 of them pull-through. All campsites are first come, first served.

Fees

$20 CAD per night paid in cash at the campground, or $18 with a nightly camping voucher or a reservation; fees apply May 1 to September 30
