About
Popular put-in or take-out point for kayakers and canoeists going down the Takhini River (Näkhų Chu/Ta Hîni). Good base to enjoy Kusawa Territorial Park. The park includes parts of the Champagne and Aishihik, Kwanlin Dün and Carcross/Tagish First Nations' Traditional Territories. The gate will remain open after service to this campground has ended. Register your stay (payment not required). Bring your own wood and toilet paper and pack out your garbage.
On the Alaska Highway at kilometre 1489, then 15 km along Kusawa Lake Road. 12 campsites. All campsites are first come, first served. The gate is open year-round.

$20 CAD per night paid in cash at the campground, or $18 with a nightly camping voucher or a reservation; fees apply May 1 to September 30
