About
Marsh Lake is one of the six road-accessible campgrounds with reservable campsites. Has 2 loops with many campsites next to the lake. A short trail and footbridge connect to the popular beach and recreation site. The Marsh Lake people had their main camp and potlatch house here. Both the Southern Tutchone and Tagish names for the lake, Tàkádàdhà and Sāa Tl’áh Ni, refer to the sandy beach. M’Clintock Bay (T’á Hîni Wát) is a rest stop for thousands of trumpeter swans and other waterbirds in spring. Visit the nearby Swan Haven Interpretive Centre in April.
On the Alaska Highway at kilometre 1379. 64 campsites, 9 of them pull-through. Half of the campsites can be reserved on Yukon Parks' reservation service; the rest are first come, first served.
Campground is very popular on weekends and fills up quickly.
Fees
$20 CAD per night paid in cash at the campground, or $18 with a nightly camping voucher or a reservation; fees apply May 1 to September 30
