Cabwaylingo State Forest covers nearly 8,000 acres in a remote corner of southwestern West Virginia, with hiking trails, a swimming pool, and a shooting range. The Tick Ridge and Spruce Creek loops offer 13 tent-only, non-electric sites with no bathhouse nearby; cabins are also on site, not counted in the total above. The campground is open spring through fall, weather permitting.
