Kohler-Andrae State Park

Kohler-Andrae State Park protects two miles of Lake Michigan beach and towering sand dunes south of Sheboygan, with a nature center overlooking the Black River estuary. The 137-site family campground (52 electric) has laundry facilities and a trailer dump station; two tent-only group sites add capacity for 50 more campers. Nine family sites and two group sites are plowed for winter camping. An accessible cabin with a full kitchen is also available (not counted in the total above).

Wisconsin DNR statewide camping system: a vehicle admission sticker is required at every state park or forest entrance, including for registered campers - $28/year for Wisconsin residents ($13/year age 65+) or $50/year for non-residents, or $13/day resident / $16/day non-resident. Nightly campsite rates vary by electricity, amenities, location, site type, day of week and season, and are shown when you select a specific site during booking; non-resident campers pay a flat $15/night surcharge on top of the site's own rate. A $9.30 reservation fee applies per booking, plus a $10 cancellation fee or $6 change fee if plans change. Pets are allowed at this campground on a leash no longer than 8 feet at all times, per Wisconsin State Park System's statewide pet policy; owners must clean up and properly dispose of pet waste.
