About
Copper Falls State Park is known for waterfalls where the Bad River and Tyler Forks cut through ancient volcanic rock, viewed from an extensive trail and footbridge system. Two campgrounds hold 55 sites total - North Campground (32 sites, 28 electric) and South Campground (23 sites) - plus a two-mile-hike-in backpack site and a group tent area for up to 40 people; an accessible cabin is also available (not counted in the total above).
Fees
Wisconsin DNR statewide camping system: a vehicle admission sticker is required at every state park or forest entrance, including for registered campers - $28/year for Wisconsin residents ($13/year age 65+) or $50/year for non-residents, or $13/day resident / $16/day non-resident. Nightly campsite rates vary by electricity, amenities, location, site type, day of week and season, and are shown when you select a specific site during booking; non-resident campers pay a flat $15/night surcharge on top of the site's own rate. A $9.30 reservation fee applies per booking, plus a $10 cancellation fee or $6 change fee if plans change. Pets are allowed at this campground on a leash no longer than 8 feet at all times, per Wisconsin State Park System's statewide pet policy; owners must clean up and properly dispose of pet waste.
