About

Sandy Beach Lake Campground, sites 1901-1933, is located in the northwest portion of the forest on the southeast corner of Sandy Beach Lake. The campground has two vault toilet buildings, two hand pumps for drinking water, separate trash and recycling dumpsters and a large picnic and beach area with parking. A boat launch is located near the campground entrance.

Sites 1914-1916 are walk-to, tent-only sites where campers must hike a short distance from their cars to the campsite.

This campground is open the Thursday before Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Fees

Nightly rates vary by site and season and are shown when you pick a site on the reservation system; campers from outside Wisconsin pay $15 a night more; $9.30 reservation fee per booking. A vehicle admission pass is required: $13 a day ($16 with out-of-state plates) or $28 for 12 months ($50 out-of-state).
