About
On Virginia's Eastern Shore near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, Kiptopeke offers beach access, a lighted fishing pier looking out on sunken WWII concrete ships, and prime birdwatching along the Atlantic migratory flyway. The campground mixes tent-only, electric-water, and full hookup sites; cabins, six-bedroom lodges, yurts, and a bunkhouse are also available (not counted in the total above). Hiking and biking trails wind through dune boardwalks and upland maritime forest.
