About
This site offers space for 4 camping parties as well as day use access to the Pack River. Anglers may have luck catching rainbow trout, bull trout and whitefish. The main portion of the site is most suitable for smaller units, however there is a portion adjacent to the bridge that offers space for larger units. The basic amenities of a pit toilet, tables and fire rings are provided. Please note that the site is immediately adjacent to a busy forest road, so users may be subject to noise/dust from large trucks passing by.
Road access. Maintained to Recreation Sites and Trails BC standards by a partner or contractor. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, parking. First come, first served.
Getting there: From the Mackenzie Junction, head south for about 3 km and turn onto the Finlay North (Pack) FSR. The site is located at approx. 10 km on the left side of the road, just beyond the bridge over the Pack River.
