About
This is a small, rustic walk-in campground (Lower Field, 12 sites) attached to the well-known Peekamoose Blue Hole swimming area in the Catskills' Peekamoose Valley. There is no potable water on site, so bring your own, and toilet facilities are basic portable units near the parking area rather than full restrooms. No fires, glass containers, alcohol, or generators are allowed, and permits are required during the busy season. Dogs are allowed with proof of rabies vaccination.
Fees
Primitive campsites run about $14/night plus a $7.25 reservation fee. A permit is required for entry to the Peekamoose Valley area May 15 through September 15, and reservations can be made up to 14 days ahead. No hookup surcharges apply. Confirm current pricing and permit rules before your trip.
