Grass Point State Park sits on the American Channel of the St. Lawrence River near Clayton in the Thousand Islands region. The campground has 72 campsites, including 20 with 20-amp electric hookup, plus showers, restrooms, and a dump station (no water or sewer hookups at individual sites). A cottage and two pavilions are available separately. Pets are allowed (2 per site max, 6-foot leash, current rabies proof required). The park typically operates mid-May through mid-September.
Fees
Standard sites run about $17 per night plus a $7.25 reservation fee. Sites with 20-amp electric hookup (20 of the park's 72 sites) add about $7 per night; there are no water or sewer hookups at individual sites. Out-of-state campers pay an additional $5 per night.
