About

Finland Campground and Day Use Area is located at the confluence of the east and west branches of the Baptism River, about seven miles from Lake Superior and Tettegouche State Park and adjacent to the village of Finland. There are 39 campsites.

This is a "primitive" campground, designed to meet only a camper's basic needs. Vault toilets, garbage cans and drinking water are available. Each campsite has a cleared area, a fire ring and table.

15 designated campsites in the campground allow ATVs, and provide direct access to the Moose Walk/Moose Run and Red Dot ATV trail systems. Contact Tettegouche State Park to reserve the campground's group campsite. There is a picnic area adjacent to the river in the village of Finland.

39 primitive campsites, 1 of them accessible. 1 group campsite, reserved up to 120 days ahead. First come, first served for individual sites; pay the camping fee online on the day you arrive, or at a state park ranger station. Managed from Tettegouche State Park (218-353-8800).
