About

This rustic campground is nestled between Town Corner Lake and the Black River. It is located within the Pigeon River Country State Forest providing easy access to the High Country Pathway. There are 12 sites for tent and small trailer use.

The campground is located 18 miles east of Vanderbilt via East Sturgeon Valley Road.

12 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Otsego Lake State Park (989-732-5485).
