About

This charming, rustic campground is nestled along the majestic Platte River, shaded by a thick canopy of Michigan hardwoods. It's an ideal spot for paddling and fishing. There are 26 sites for tent and small trailer use. The campground is located near the Platte River Hatchery.

The campground is located 2.5 miles southeast of Honor via US-31 and Goose Road.

26 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Interlochen State Park (231-276-9511).
