About
This rustic campground is in the depths of a beautiful cedar forest, resting on the shores of Lake Huron. The campsites are generously spaced apart. The campground has a campground host present all season long. Facilities include a day-use area with picnic tables and grills, sandy beaches and a boardwalk out to Lake Huron. There are 42 sites for tent, small trailer and large trailer use.
The campground is located one mile east of Ossineke via US-23 S and Ossineke Road.
42 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Hoeft State Park (989-734-2543).
