About
Nestled on the shores of 120-acre Gemini Lake in northwest Schoolcraft County, this rustic campground offers a tranquil escape for fishing and paddling enthusiasts. Divided into two loops, it features 17 site suitable for tents and small trailers, some with direct water access. A central boat launch makes launching kayaks and canoes easy. Plus, you're just five miles from the breathtaking Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
The operation of an ORV and snowmobile between the campground and nearby trails is allowed
The campground is located 20 miles northeast of Shingleton via H-15, H-58 and Twin Lake Truck Trail.
17 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Indian Lake State Park (906-341-2355).
