About

Perched on a hill overlooking Long Lake, this rustic campground offers breathtaking views and exceptional fishing and boating. Eleven sites are available for tents and small trailers.

The campground is located 3.5 miles northwest of Lake City via M-66 North, Randall Road, West Goose Lake Road, North Green Road, Goose Lake Park and Long Lake Park.

winter camping may be park and walk in.

11 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Mitchell State Park (231-775-7911).
