About
Located along the edge of Jackson Lake, this rustic campground offers boating and fishing opportunities. Additionally, miles and miles of scenic hiking pathways and an off-road vehicle trail can be accessed from the campground. Great hiking and mountain biking opportunities include Clear Lake/Jackson Lake Pathway and High Country Pathway.
There are 18 sites for tent and small trailer use, 15 of which will accommodate a 40-foot long vehicle or trailer. The campground is located 6 miles north of Atlanta via M-33.
18 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Closed December 1 to April 15. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Clear Lake State Park (989-785-4388).
