About
This secluded, rustic campground is home to 41 campsites near the Gladwin Field Trail Area. The campground is split into two loops. The area offers excellent fishing, hiking and paddling opportunities. There is trail access to the nearby Trout Lake Pathway, which is a beautiful 2.8-mile loop. The campground neighbors Trout Lake State Forest Campground to the north.
There are 41 campsites available, 35 of which will accommodate a 40-foot vehicle/trailer. The campground is located 17 miles north of Gladwin via M-18 N and Adams Road.
41 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Wilson State Park (989-386-4067).
