About

This charming rustic campground is nestled in the Jordan River Valley. Visitors can enjoy canoeing, fishing, hiking and beautiful scenery located along the Jordan River, Michigan's first designated scenic river. There are 10 sites for tent and small trailer use.

The campground is located 10 miles north of Mancelona via US-131 and M-66.

10 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Open all year; the road may not be plowed in winter. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Young State Park (231-582-7523).
