About
This quaint rustic campground is surrounded by a green forest and located on beautiful Beaufort Lake. There are seven sites for tent and small trailer use. The quiet and remote location provides wonderful night sky viewing opportunities. The 462-acre lake connects to George and Ruth lakes.
The campground is located 1.5 miles southeast of Three Lakes via US-41 and Beaufort Road.

7 rustic campsites, $20 a night. Closed November 1 to May 1. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Van Riper State Park (906-339-4461).
