About
Nestled on the eastern shore of Bass Lake, this rustic campground offers 22 campsites for tents and RVs. The campground features a loop of heavily shaded sites, some of which offer direct water access. Some campsites have direct access to the water. Visitors can enjoy a large grassy picnic area with two tables right by the water, and a spacious parking lot for vehicles and boats near the boat launch.
This is a "carry-in, carry-out" campground. Trash barrels are not provided; however, dumpsters are available and located at the Gwinn Field Office. Please help keep the campground clean!
The campground is located 10 miles west of Gwinn via M-35 North, Horseshoe Lake Road and West Crooked Lake Lane.
22 rustic campsites. Not on the DNR's amenity table, so its fee and season are not stated here; Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most.
