About
The smaller, seasonal (April-mid-December) of Pocomoke River State Park's two genuinely separate, independently-addressed campgrounds, 6.5 miles from Shad Landing by road, with its own address and GPS coordinate. 34 campsites, nestled within Pocomoke State Forest. Showers and a dump station are not confirmed specifically for this location - the park's amenities listing is combined for both campgrounds and Shad Landing's own description is more specific about showers, so don't assume this location has them. 2 mini cabins are separate lodging, not included in the campsite total above. Reservable through the Maryland Park Service's own ReserveAmerica/Aspira contract, hosted at parkreservations.maryland.gov (not a reserveamerica.com subdomain, though it runs the same underlying platform - confirmed live, "Powered by Aspira").
Fees
Campsite Non-Electric $19.50-$20.50/night, Campsite Electric $25.50-$26.50/night (park-wide fee table, covers both Pocomoke River campgrounds). Displayed rates are the vendor's own published BASE rates and do NOT reflect holiday/weekend/residency surcharges or a pet fee (Maryland applies these as add-ons rather than publishing a separate resident/non-resident base rate the way some other states do). Pets allowed under the same park-wide policy as Shad Landing (all loops except Robins Nest, which is at Shad Landing).
