80 designated primitive (Class C) campsites in loops south of the forest office near Yellowwood Lake (Red Pine, Blackgum, Hickory, White Oak and Redbud), plus a carry-in tent area north of the office. Vault toilets and drinking water near the sites, a playground, a dump station.
First come, first served 365 days a year; reservations are not taken. Register at the forest office (772 Yellowwood Lake Road, Nashville).
