About

Nonelectric campground east of I-65 off Winding Road: 40 individual campsites, each with a picnic table and fire ring.

The comfort station for both of the forest's campgrounds - a modern restroom building with showers, toilets and sinks - and the dump station are in the equestrian campground and are for paid campers; others may use the dump station for $10.

All campers self-register and pay at the Clark State Forest main office (self-registration envelopes at the station outside the office at 2 Service Road, Henryville) and clip the receipt to the site marker.

The forest's five rent-a-camp cabins (April 1 to mid-November) book separately on the state's reservation system.
