US Forest Service campground. This is a nice place for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is located in a lodgepole pine stand with a few Douglas Fir throughout. Steel Creek flowing through the campground. Pack out what you pack in. Open season: June through October. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
