US Forest Service campground. Lodgepole Campground is located along the Pioneer Scenic Byway (NFSR 73) south of Wise River, MT. This campground offers paved roads, paved trailer sites, two ADA accessible vault toilets, a handpump for potable water, picnic tables, fire rings, and bear boxes for food storage at each site. Pack out what you pack in. Open season: June through September, weather dependent.. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
