US Forest Service campground. This campground is open year around unless inaccessable due to weather and snow. Hiking, fishing, bicycling, motorcycle and ATV. Access to Lion Canyon multiuse trail at campground. East Bear Gulch, Stutz and Tanner trailheads are all within 6 miles and are also multi-use trails. 15 campsites which are for tents and/or very small trailers. Parking spur, tables, fire rings and grills are provided at this campground. There is no drinking water or trash receptacle provided. There are 3 older non-handicap-accessible toilets. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
