About

US Forest Service campground. Bear Track got its name many years ago from a bear track found while building the site. A 1.5 mile trail connects the campground to the North Country National Scenic Trail. Fishing is a popular activity for this area. Open season: May 2 - September 8. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
