US Forest Service campground. The Campground at Cave Lake is little used and the perfect place for a week-end or week long getaway. Pack out what you pack in. Open season: Facilities open as weather permits; usually early July to late October.. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
